Giorgio Armani's "Films of City Frames"

Being the proud sponsors of 2014 Toronto International Film Festival, Giorgio Armani has declared his love for the big screen. Giorgio Armani has announced his latest project "Films of City Frames", collaborating with Luxottica and Rai Cinema. Students from six prestigious international film schools were invited to create a short film, fulfilling a specific creative brief: To capture the distinct beauty of their metropolis, using the Frames of Life eyewear collection as a 'filter'. Pretty easy, right?

Giorgio Armani expressed passionately that the Films of City Frames project allowed aspiring filmmakers to star "alongside the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival, which has long been a launching pad for so many important global films. Bringing young formative cinema talent to Toronto is in perfect focus for me."

The film schools chosen to complete are:
Tisch School of the Arts from New York
The ESRA Group from Paris
The School of Film and Television from Hong Kong
The National Film and Television School from London
USC School of Cinematic Arts from Los Angeles
The National Film School of the Experimental Center of Cinematography from Rome

You can check out their entries and vote for your favourite short film by heading to the Films of City Frames website: http://framesoflife.armani.com/films-of-city-frames.

Below is London's entry, called 'Juliet'. The short film features a London florist, who takes a leap of faith to follow a mysterious man across a bridge.
