Giorgio Aramani Men Three Styles Sunglasses

Founded by one of the most iconic names in fashion design history, Giorgio Armani eyewear embodies everything that the brand, and its legendary originator represents iconic Italian workmanship, sleek, sharp lines, and beautifully creative aesthetics. Born in 1975, Giorgio Armani eyewear revolutionized and rewrote the sunglass design textbook, responding to changes in the fashion world with soft and clean lines and strong sense of Italian flair.

From humble beginnings, Giorgio was born and raised in the Italian town of Piacenza. It was here that he aspired to start a career in medicine, and he eventually enrolled into the Department of Medicine at the University of Milan. However, after three years of studying towards an award in medicine, he walked away from his studies and joined the Italian army. Thanks to his experience and the skills he picked up at University, he was instantly promoted and posted to an infirmary in Verona. The experience in the hospital proved too much for Giorgio, and he soon left his post.

He opted for a complete change in career direction, and soon found a job as a window dresser for La Rinascente, a department store in Milan. He began to work his way up the ranks, and was soon promoted to work on the menswear floor. He learnt valuable lessons here, from how to market men’s clothing, to how they were made, and how best to sell them to his customers.

In the 1960s, Giorgio moved jobs again, and headed to designer label Nino Cerutti. He thrived for ten years, helping the brand with his now sought after design skills. During his time here, he also freelanced some of his designs, working for as many as ten different labels at any one time.
Giorgio continued to work for other brands as a designer for some years, until he began to gain real recognition when some of his work was showcased at the Italian fashion show held at Pitti Palace in Florence.

In 1975, Giorgio founded his label, Giorgio Armani, in Milan, and bought his own design studio. He later presented his first collections for both men and women in 1976, which were applauded.

The home grown label grew from strength to strength as the world fell in love with the brands clean lines and sharp tailoring, and the Giorgio Armani label slowly became more accessible over the years, with the launch of new lines, such as Armani underwear, accessories, and Giorgio Armani sunglasses.

Sophistication has always been the mainstay of the Giorgio Armani label, no matter what they turn their hand to designing. The label is embedded in much more than fashion, with Giorgio using the knowledge he picked up from working in retail to link his brand with culture and the big screen. The Italian fashion house has designed and produced the costumes for over 100 films, some of the most notable being the 1978 movie The Untouchables, as well as the recent Batman Trilogy, in which the brand suited Christian Bale.

More than just a label, Giorgio Armani has developed into a lifestyle brand, producing everything from ski wear to furniture.
Keen to maintain its image as an innovator and icon in the fashion industry, Giorgio Armani is responsible for a host of industry firsts. They were the first label to banish super skinny models from their shows, as well as the first brand to present and air one of their new collections online.

Paying homage to their roots, and continuing their ethic of effortlessly chic and sleek design, Giorgio Armani sunglasses take off from where the clothing label ends. Perfect for those who want to wear the label and its undoubted connotation of luxury, Giorgio Armani sunglasses are the ultimate in sought after eyewear. This season sees the arrival of the latest Giorgio Armani frames, with some heritage styles that have been simplified and slimmed down in an iconic Italian manner, to some innovative, super stylish frames that are set to adorn some of the most stylish faces in the world.

We love the Giorgio Armani AR8007 sunglasses, finished in matte red. Their striking rounded lens shape makes for a fashion conscious style, whilst the contrasting bar above the nose bridge give the frame a touch of luxury. Silver diamond fastenings lift the front of the frame, whilst the branding is understated yet noticeable.
Perfect for anyone looking to make a style statement, you can get your hands on these in a host of colours, including a very classy looking matte Havana.

Following on from a style that is set to get the trendsetters pulses racing, the Giorgio Armani AR8009 acts as its understated cousin. Available in an array of colours, from Havana to blue and even olive green, our favourite has to be yellow. A stylish rounded frame with eye catching details, such as half metal arms and colour matched lenses, which feature subtle branding, make these sunglasses the perfect stylish accessory-perfect for turning a few heads.

Looking for something a touch more on the subtle side? Try the Giorgio Armani AR6004T. Finished with a lens that isn’t too dissimilar from a classic aviator-but with a squared lens instead of a teardrop shape, these frames are the epitome of simplistic, sleek design. With ultra thin arms, they are finished in titanium, making them lightweight and comfortable to wear.

Finally, we love how the Giorgio Armani AR8016 sunglasses have added a stylistic twist to a classic square frame. A chunky frame is given a sleek edge with some classy branding on the arm, whilst the two tone colour on the pair in striped grey give them an extra design edge.
